Marketable Title's
practical practice series
are conducted by
real
estate attorneys whom have a considerable amount of experience
conducting residential
and commercial
real estate closings.
The Workshops are conducted any time once 5 or more people have
registered. The groups are intended to be small and personal (5-10
people per group)
and
are schedule as determined by the participants.
If you prefer, we
can come to your real estate office to conduct a seminar for your
brokers and agents if it is more convenient for the participants.

Statement Workshop |

The
Closing
Statement Workshop includes an in-depth analysis of matters
which
must be addressed in the preparation of the RESPA HUD-1 Settlement
Statement. Focus is on both "cash" and financed
transactions. Prorations will be analysed in detail. Other closing
considerations, such as typical closing costs, lender's fees, and
mortgage broker fees, will be addressed. Closing Statement
Workshop is intended for real estate professionals who are new to
closings or who want to refresh their knowledge of a Closing
Statement.

Contract Preparation
|
|
This
seminar presents a detailed explanation of each paragraph of the
Florida Association of Realtors (F.A.R) and Florida Bar uniform real
estate Contract. A wide array of the most pertinent contract
provisions will be discussed such as mortgage contingencies,
property inspections, title and survey requirements, and contract
defaults. This seminar will also provide a quick overview of various
riders and addenda to the Contract. This seminar will prove
beneficial to the Realtor who prepares the Contract on behalf of
their clients or to any Realtor who has to review and explain the
terms of the Contract. Materials and Refreshments provided.
